Sold my card months ago when i realized that these drivers were never going to happen. Just saw this link in my favorites and thought id pop in for a be on the off come about but nothing has changed i see I've been watchin tv in vista x64 for months now with a videomate U2700 nebula have missed the boat big time i dont see what could be so hard. As for a previous post. What is the point in a solid stable app if there are no drivers to use the hardware with?? pha ! For what it's worth. I have 64 bit Vista and am running the DigiTV application. I know that the topic of discussion was 64 bit PCI drivers but I've put my separate in a PC running X86 Windows running as a server and switched on all of the time and the latest Beta DigiTV application ordain run on 64 bit Vista as a client to my server although I sight that some bring names are corrupt. I get the occasional mouth from the video and I have not played with the settings to try to change by reversal this. Not sure if it's server or client related. I purchased a VideoMate T220 PCI card for £29.99 from play com. It's installed into my Vista 64 Ultimate machine and works perfectly via Media Centre. It's eary days at the moment but my sign compete with MC blows DigiTV's application out of the wet. Vista is very constrained as Microsoft want you to watch tv and record tv the way7 THEY be you to check. They use their own formats for recording there it is very difficult to edit the files [I gave up]. quite a strange mention to alter of couse they alter it the way THEY want to.. it's their software afterall tha fact is that forgetting about all the classic MS haters. MCE actually works "out the box" and its simplicity is what a lot of populate are drawn to can you really see tons of users happy to have to mess about with registry settings all the measure just to act the software running happily? sadly this seems to be something you need to be familiar with if using DigiTV. Good old VideoReDo ordain happily edit dvr-ms files and then deliver them in a variety of formats (currently five supported formats). Since making the switch to the "AverMedia DVB-T Volar" USB device (all of £23.95) in my Vista x64 machine I've successfully recorded every program I wanted to record without fail. No lipsync issues no recordings finishing early no crashes no 100% CPU usage. A 57 minute schedule occupies around 1.55GB. I then load the programs in VideoRedo edit out the adverts and resave the file. I deliver in the same format (dvr-ms) as it means I can playback in WMC. WMC is clunky not very user-friendly and is actually designed more for a HTPC than for a normal desktop (e g making the WMC window bigger simply increases the font coat of the EPG instead of showing more channels in the same EPG font). But there's one crucial difference between WMC and DigiTV. It works on Vista x64. No let me rephrase that. It just works..... Jim As has been mentioned frequently before VideoReDo Plus asks if you plan to use it for MS dvr-ms format files when you install it. It handles these files perfectly and then allows you to deliver in one of several formats. I tend to use VideoReDo to order up recordings stripping the increasingly desire BBC trailers and ITV commercials out to leave me with a "clean" create by mental act. If I am going to check it on the PC I leave the register change as is but if I am going to burn to a DVD format I save as primary streams and use DVDlab.
